How do I apply on Amazon Liquidation Auctions? Is there any cost to me?

Click here to create an account. Fill in the required fields, attach a valid reseller's certificate and click the submit button. We will notify you within one business day if your account is approved. There is no fee for applying or for being an approved buyer on Amazon Liquidation Auctions.

Can I apply if I am located in Alaska or Hawaii?

Amazon Liquidation Auctions are only available to Buyers in the lower 48 contiguous United States.

Can I apply if I am located outside of the United States?

Amazon Liquidation Auctions is only accepting applications from the United States. Buyers are required to submit a valid reseller certificate to be approved.

If you are located in Europe, you can register on the Amazon EU Liquidation Auctions marketplace for inventory throughout the EU

What do I do after I win my first auction?

After you win your first auction you will be required to register your business through Amazon’s Tax Exemption Portal (ATEP).

Please allow 10-15 minutes for this immediately after receiving your first “Bid Won” email on the Amazon marketplace, to avoid a delay or order cancelation.

Information about how to register via ATEP will be provided in your Bid Won email.

Once you have a successful ATEP enrollment status confirmed by B-Stock, please do not make any changes to your enrollment through the Amazon Tax Exemption Wizard as this may cause issues or delays with the fulfillment process for your order.

Your Order will not be processed for fulfillment until after you have successfully completed ATEP registration and paid.

Why do I need to complete this registration? I already submitted my reseller document.

B-Stock is an affiliate of Amazon. The Amazon Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) supports tax exempt purchases for sales sold by Amazon.com, its affiliates, and participating independent third-party sellers.

What if I don't have an amazon.com account?

B-Stock is an affiliate of Amazon. The Amazon Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) supports tax exempt purchases for sales sold by Amazon.com, its affiliates, and participating independent third-party sellers.

If you do not have an Amazon.com account or you have an Amazon.com business account, you will need to create a new account - click here to create one.

This is the email address you will enter in the “My Account” section of your profile once you have completed ATEP registration and been approved.

You do not need to use the same email address that is associated with your B-Stock account.

The company name and company address you use during ATEP enrollment must match the information on your B-Stock account.

You may not use an Amazon Business account.

Do I need to enroll in ATEP for every address

You need to enroll in ATEP for each state where you plan to receive inventory.

If you are shipping to multiple states, you will need to enroll for each state.

If you have multiple addresses within one state, the exemption will apply to all addresses.

WHAT IF I’M IN A STATE THAT DOESN’T HAVE SALES TAX?

You must still provide your Amazon retail account email address to B-Stock through the “My Account” section of your profile if your state does not collect sales tax.

You will not be required to enroll through ATEP if your state does not collect sales tax but you still need a valid Amazon retail account.

IS IT OKAY IF MY AMAZON.COM ACCOUNT EMAIL ADDRESS IS DIFFERENT FROM MY B-STOCK ACCOUNT EMAIL ADDRESS?

Yes. Your Amazon.com email does not need to match the email address of your B-Stock account, but it does need to match the “Amazon.com email address” field on your account page.

While completing your ATEP registration you must use the same company name and company address as on your B-Stock account.

CAN I USE AN AMAZON BUSINESS ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE MY CERTIFICATE?

No, you cannot use an Amazon Business account for ATEP registration.

You must not convert your account to an Amazon Business account after ATEP registration, even though you may be prompted to do so.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’VE BEEN APPROVED?

You should receive an activation email from Amazon within 2 business days.

If you have completed the ‘Create Document’ portion of the wizard successfully, you will get a confirmation on screen. This confirmation means that you have filled out the form successfully, not that you have been approved.

WHAT IF I’M NOT APPROVED?

If there are any issues with your documentation you will be contacted via email from Amazon.

If we are unable to resolve issues with your documentation after troubleshooting, your Order will be cancelled.

If your ATEP enrollment shows approval on Amazon.com but not on your B-Stock Order, please send screenshots of the tax status if your Amazon portal to our CS team.

How do I bid?

Once you are an approved buyer on Amazon Liquidation Auctions, you can go to any auction page and enter the highest amount that you are willing to pay. Enter the amount in the white box to the right of "My Maximum Bid". Below, you will see the minimum allowable bid amount. Once the amount has been entered, click the "Bid Now" button. Please note the message near the top of the page, which indicates if your bid is high enough to become the current high bid. If not, you may wish to increase your bid. For each bid you enter, you will receive an email confirmation that your bid was successfully placed.

How large are the lots being sold?

Lots will be available in all sizes.

What condition is the merchandise in? Is it all new?

The merchandise on this marketplace is in Overstock condition. Please see our Conditions page for the conditions used on Amazon Liquidation Auctions. Refer to each auction title and description for detailed information.

Why do auctions extend at the end?

If a bid is placed in the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction end time will extend for an additional 3 minutes. This is called "Popcorn Bidding" and gives all bidders an equal chance of winning an auction by extending the end time of the auction if a last minute bid is placed. Popcorn Bidding is used to simulate a live auction and prevents other bidders from "sniping" an auction at the last second.

How can I enter my maximum bid without it appearing to other bidders?

All bids placed on Amazon Liquidation Auctions act as "proxy" bids. You can bid the highest amount you are willing to bid and allow the system to manage the bidding for you. The Current Bid displayed on each auction is equivalent to the second highest bidder's bid, plus one bid increment ($25 on Amazon Liquidation Auctions). If the high bidder has placed a higher bid, it will not display. This allows bidders to know that if they place a proxy bid, they could still win the auction for any amount below or at their maximum bid. Please note that bid increments will increase at higher bid amounts.

Example: If you find an item that you are interested in that is currently at $1,000 without any bids and choose to bid $5,000, you will be winning the auction at $1,000. If another bidder places a bid for $1,100, you will be winning the auction at $1,125, one increment higher. The system will continue to automatically outbid other bidders on your behalf, but will never exceed your proxy bid of $5,000.

Can I buy merchandise without bidding on it?

All merchandise sold on Amazon Liquidation Auctions is in auction format only. If you only want to place one bid, you can always place a proxy bid.

Can I cancel my bid?

Please remember that every bid on Amazon Liquidation Auctions is a binding contract. You are agreeing to buy the lot at the price you indicate should you ultimately be the high bidder. Bids may not be cancelled once submitted. If you accidentally enter a wrong bid amount (for example, you entered $1000 instead of $100) you can click on the Cancel link within the bid confirmation pop-up window to change your bid amount prior to submission. Changing your mind does not qualify as accidentally entering a wrong bid amount.

Your bids affect how other users bid within the auction and the auction's final selling price. We provide ample opportunity for you to check and double check your bid before submitting, so multiple requests to cancel bids will most likely result in the suspension of your account.

A record of all bids is kept on file. If a current winning bid is disqualified in an auction for any reason, B-Stock will restore the next highest non-winning bid to winning status. This decision is made at the sole discretion of B-Stock Solutions.

Are the images on the site actual images of the merchandise?

Merchandise may be displayed in its current condition, or with a stock image. If it is unclear in any way, contact us prior to bidding.

Can I inspect the merchandise before bidding?

Merchandise cannot be inspected prior to bidding. All available information is detailed on the auction page.

Why did I lose the auction if I bid the same amount as another bidder?

In order to win an auction, you need to bid a higher amount than the current high bidder. If both you and another buyer placed maximum bids of $10,000, but the other bidder placed their bid before yours, they will win the auction.

How do I know if I win?

At the close of the auction, the winning bidder is notified by email. This will also show up as an order on the "Orders" page under the "Account" dropdown.

What do I do after I have paid?

You should receive an email from Amazon Liquidation Auctions confirming your payment within 2 business days and your Order will be updated to "Paid"

Orders may take up to 28 days after payment to ship.

Winning buyers will be prompted to submit additional business information, as required by Amazon, after they win their first auction. Please allow 10-15 minutes for this, to avoid a delay or order cancelation.

You will receive an email notifying you when your Order has shipped, any items which are missing from the shipment and the amount of your inventory shortage and shipping adjustment credit, if applicable.

Please be ready to receive your shipment from the carrier's delivery truck when it arrives.

How does shipping work?

The shipping cost is provided on all auctions. Shipments are fulfilled by Estes and YRC; the carrier is based on the location of the inventory.

The shipping charge to your shipping address on file is displayed on the auction detail page. You can change the shipping address information to update the freight cost.

This cost will be charged in addition to your winning bid amount. The total Order amount must be paid in full.

Orders may take up to 28 days after payment to ship.

You will receive an email notifying you when your Order has shipped, any items which are missing from the shipment and the amount of your inventory shortage and shipping adjustment credit, if applicable.

If your Order has not been prepared for shipment by Amazon within 14 days it will be cancelled automatically and you will receive a full refund.

If your Order is missing more than 30% of the items listed when it is picked it will be canceled automatically and you will receive a full refund.

The number of pallets and weight of the shipment listed on the Auction Details page are estimates.

Orders shipping via Estes & YRC will be shipped LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight on pallets. Multiple pallet orders will be shipped individually and are not guaranteed to ship at the same time. Orders that end up being 150lbs or less may be shipped via UPS parcel & may arrive in multiple shipments. Additionally, if there are remaining items for your order that would not fit on the pallet(s), or otherwise would not be cost effective to ship LTL, these will ship via UPS parcel & may arrive in multiple shipments.

The calculated shipping price is final, besides any shipping adjustment credit you may receive.

Buyers must be prepared to accept delivery after payment.

What is the minumum cost for shipping?

There is a $135 minimum shipping cost for each Order sold on Amazon Liquidation Auctions, regardless of size.

Can I pick up the merchandise myself? Can I just pay when I pick it up?

Amazon does not allow “Buyer Pick Up” of Orders.

Buyers may not arrange their own carrier, pick up themselves or pay on pickup.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ORDERS TO SHIP?

Tracking information will be provided 1-3 business days after your Order has shipped.

WILL ALL INVENTORY ARRIVE WITH MY ORDER?

During the time Amazon auctions are listed the inventory is not packed for shipment.

Orders may experience inventory shortages, as some inventory is still being actively sold on Amazon.com and may be sold at retail prior to the auction being completed.

When Amazon prepares your Order for shipment after your payment, it provides an adjusted manifest which accurately reflects the items in the shipment.

In the event of an inventory shortage, Amazon will provide a proactive order adjustment credit, equal to the value of the missing merchandise, when your order is shipped.

You will receive a “Balance Adjustment” email, notifying you of the credit amount for any inventory shortages, inventory and shipment adjustment credits and a link to view the updated manifest of what was shipped.

This means that you will only pay for what you receive, and you can expect the contents of your order to exactly match your updated manifest.

This is not subject to the standard 5% variance for filing a claim.

THE MOST IMPORTANT INVENTORY FROM MY ORDER IS MISSING. CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER FOR A REFUND?

If a substantial amount of inventory from your order is not able to be fulfilled, it will be canceled automatically and you will receive a full refund.

You may not cancel your Order due to shortages less than 30% or because it is missing certain item(s).

Orders with inventory shortages less than 30% will receive an automatic refund for the missing items.

CAN I REINSTATE MY ORDER IF IT'S BEEN CANCELLED?

If your Order has been cancelled for failure to complete ATEP registration, non-payment or any other reason you will not be able to reinstate your order.

WHAT IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?

1. Find and review the dispute policy for this seller here to determine if your dispute qualifies for resolution and to see what documentation will be required.

2. Gather all required evidence as indicated on the linked page above. For example; the bill of lading and pallet tags for freight loads, photos of the merchandise at delivery and before inspection, photos of the disputed merchandise upon inspection, the line items results of your inspection, and for mobile devices, the IMEI and a photo of each device in dispute.

3. Go to Your Orders page, find the order you wish to dispute, click on “Report an Issue” and follow the instructions.

Am I buying this merchandise directly from Amazon?

Yes! All merchandise on Amazon Liquidation Auctions is coming directly from Amazon.

Where is the auction merchandise located?

The auctions on Amazon Liquidation Auctions are listed from different locations across the United States.

How often are there new auctions?

Auctions open and close every week. Buyers that are subscribed to the Amazon Liquidation Auctions newsletter will receive an email when auctions are opening and closing.

How can I update my personal information / change my password?

As an approved buyer, if you are logged into Amazon Liquidation Auctions and select "Account Information" from the "My Account" drop down. You can update all contact information or change the password on your account. You can also click the green "I forgot" text on the login page if you cannot remember your password.

How do I report a technical problem?

Contact us to report your issue. Please be as specific as possible and be sure to include any information that would help us determine the cause of your problem, including: which web browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.), the web page you are on, steps to replicate the issue you are having, and other details and screenshots for our review.

I am approved and having trouble logging in. What can I do?

Sometimes your browser can cause login problems. Please try the following fixes:

  1. Clear your browser's cache, then close it and reopen it and try logging in again.
  2. Try logging in with a different browser. We recommend using the latest version of Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

When I try to log in, I see the message "Invalid login or password." Why?

If you receive this notification, then you either have not yet applied on Amazon Liquidation Auctions, or you are entering an incorrect password. You can reset your password by clicking the "I forgot" link below your password entry and entering your email address. If you have not applied, then you can click the Create An Account button to begin your application.

When I try to log in, I see the message "Your application is still pending." What do I do?

If you receive this notification, then we have either not yet reviewed your application or you have not submitted us the proper reseller's certificate. If it has been more than 1 business day since you applied, then we are still waiting on the proper documentation from you. You can submit your reseller certificate here or fax it to (650) 241-3328.
